On Mar.28th, Deepoon VR held its spring press conference in Beijing JD.com Headquarter and launched a PC VR Headset E3 along with its self developed laser orientation solution Polaris. Also it announced the new English brand name DPVR as well.
DPVR announced that the price for E3 Basic Edition is 2299RMB （$330 USD） while the price for “E3 + Polaris” Orientation Set is 4999RMB ($715 USD). Currently, the DPVR E3 is open for reservation on JD.com crowdsourcing platform.

Hypereal announced their 1st prototype headset in Jul.2016, at last year’s Chinajoy 2016. Their announced prototype then was like a ‘HTC Vive’, using tracking tech like Valve’s lighthouse. Less than one year now, they announced their new official product.
Hypereal’s current product is like a PSVR headset + Oculus Touch/Constellation. It’s called Pano and Pano Pro.
Price for Pano and Pano Pro is very competitive, Pano is $355 USD, and Pano Pro is $525 USD. (price calculated to USD from RMB). Pano can now be reversed on Hypereal’s official website and it says will be shipped around Jun. this year.

Deepoon VR CEO announced in early Jan.2017 its open letter that they have accomplished a new round of financing led by Kingnet.com and followed by other VR industry funds, total amount exceeding 10m USD.
In December 2015, Deepoon VR accomplished 0.18b RMB（26m USD） B round financing. That round is led by Xunlei and followed by Kingnet.com and the three parties reached a strategic cooperation.
In August 2016, Deepoon VR had another 24.85m RMB（3.59m USD）strategic financing from kingnet.com as well.
Reported from 7tin, that HTC VIVE launched its cooperation with LekeVR to produce Viveport Arcade on VRLe. They announced during the ceremony that within two weeks, the first batch of Viveport Arcade Exclusive VR content will gradually land on LekeVR’s VRLe platform and it is estimated that the coverage will be around 1000 experience stores.

Dec.8, in WinHEC conference in ShenZhen, Microsoft announced that 3Glasses will join their VR platform, as one of the VR hardware provider.
Early this year, Microsoft that the Windows 10 VR headset will be built by Dell, Asus and Lenovo, and the price will be around $300 USD. Now with 3Glasses join the force to further expand the Windows VR headset product line.
3Glasses has been a renowned VR hardware company in China. They just got a $10M investment from O-film.
3Glasses’s latest VR headset is 3Glasses S1 Blubur, which features 2K display and 120HZ refresh rate. It also comes with a pair of Wand, which is like HTC Vive.
3Glasses got 60M RMB investment from O-film, estimated value 0.56B RMB
ShenZhen VR technology company 3Glasses has got 60M RMB (around 8.7M USD) investment from ShenZhen O-film. After this round of investment, 3Glasses’ estimated value is 0.56B RMB (around 81M USD) and O-film will get 10.7143% of 3Glasses’ stock as well as a seat in the board meeting to decide the VR layout.
